The archive began as a notebook kept in a pack pocket and moved online so the entries would stop getting wet.

I walk and ski in the Wasatch Range above Ogden. The pages here record what I saw on a particular day: the state of the trailhead, snow line, creek crossings, and the time it took. They are written for my own use and shared in case they are useful to someone else.

There is no advertising, no tracking, and no account system. The site is a set of static pages served from a small machine.

Corrections

If a route description is wrong or a trailhead has changed, the best response is to check with the land manager before relying on it. This archive is not affiliated with any agency or guide company.
