North Ogden Divide

Clear, cool, and windy. The trail was in good shape to the saddle. The meadow above the divide had dried out and the last water was a small seep just below the ridge.

From the saddle the route follows the ridge north, then climbs to the summit block. There is one short section of easy scrambling where the trail crosses a rocky rib. It was dry, but the wind made it feel more exposed.

The summit was in cloud by noon. I ate quickly and descended. On the way down I met two parties coming up with overnight packs; the camping benches below the summit looked dry.
